What are Proof Pods?

Proof Pods are physical validator devices that help secure the Zero Knowledge Proof Network.

Once powered by USB-C and connected to Wi-Fi, they perform off-chain zero-knowledge computations that support the network's operation.

Each device displays a QR code that links you to the presale dashboard — while they don’t process payments directly, they’re a seamless way to join and upgrade.

You can level up your Pod’s performance through the dashboard, and as the network grows, earn ZKP Coins by contributing compute work during testnet and beyond.

Can I upgrade my Proof Pod?

Proof Pods can be upgraded up to level 300, but only 299 upgrades are available since the first level is active by default (1/300).

Each upgrade costs $100 and is purchased via the ZKP Dashboard displayed on your device, which links to the Zero Knowledge Proof dashboard for payment. Once confirmed, the device automatically updates your compute level.

Do Proof Pods work offline or without a browser?

No. Proof Pods must remain powered on and connected to the Internet in order to function.

  • If the device is offline, it will not receive tasks or return results, meaning no rewards are generated during downtime.

For maximum performance and rewards, always keep your Proof Pod powered and online.

How do I earn with Proof Pods?

By mining with your Proof Pod. Each device contributes to the network and earns ZKP Coin in return. There are 300 upgrade levels, and the higher your level, the greater your rewards. You can track earnings and upgrade your device anytime from the dashboard at zkp.com.

What operating system do Proof Pods use?

Proof Pods run a custom embedded OS purpose-built for secure, verifiable ZK proof generation. The system is optimized for privacy, on-chain integrity, and wireless updates. No user interaction with the OS is needed — the device is plug-and-play.

How secure are Proof Pods?

Proof Pods feature a multi-layered security model, including:

  • Hardware-level encryption protecting private data parameters inside a black box
  • Secure boot and signed firmware updates
  • On-chain proof validation through Proof of Intelligence (PoI) and Proof of Storage Participation (PoSP) mechanisms

If a Pod is compromised or malfunctions, it simply doesn’t get rewarded — invalid outputs are automatically rejected by the network. Future updates may include staking and slashing mechanisms post-mainnet.

What happens if a Proof Pod goes offline?

It simply stops generating zero-knowledge proofs and earning rewards. No penalties or slashing are applied, but prolonged downtime may reduce the Pod’s reputation and task priority.
